Hi and welcome back.

Right after the BH High Line shoot, I left for Massachusetts.  On Friday I shot art copy for a private client in Westwood, MA, then headed up to EP Levine in Waltham to prepare for a private group workshop in Studio A, a 30’x60′ studio with a white cyclorama.

This event turned into a variation of another event: All Light Modifiers Great and Small.

We worked with Rogue Flashbenders as our smallest light modifer all the way up to the Westcott 7′ Parabolic Reflector.

It was a fun day of presenting and shooting in a great environment.  Ray Nason of Mac Group US was even there to help and demonstrate the X-Rite Color Checker Passport ant the full line of Pocket Wizard Products.

Here are some shots from the day:

And finally we worked bare head flash, one light into two by using total backlight and then a reflector for the main light for something quick and creative:

We had a fun-filled day of off camera flash in a great setting.

Many thanks to:

Miranda for being our model for the day

Jay and Mike at EP Levine

Ray of Mac Group US

And Expoimaging and Westcott for their wonderful products.

I’m at Adorama Workshops this Thursday, if you can swing in and check us out!

Till next time, happy shooting.
