Hi and welcome back.
I’m always looking for new ways to light and have decided to switch my lighting around for actor headshots.
Stacey came in the other day and while she’s not an actor, I tried this new technique with her.
Here’s the setup:
2 Photogenic strobes lighting the backdrop, or in this case the white wall of the studio.
California Sunbounce Micro Mini directly under her face.
Profoto strobe with an Elinchrom 39×39 softbox directly behind me for full, flat, frontal light.
Here’s one of the select images from the shoot:
Nikon D3, 70-200 vr, Pocket Wizard Plus II’s, X-Rite Color Checker Passport
Need an actor headshot, contact me and let’s book a sitting.
Till next time, happy shooting.
