Hi and welcome back.

I discovered the Brenizer Method made popular by Ryan Brenizer for giving digital photos that large format 3D effect with just merging a group of photos.

It is a fun technique, although a tad time consuming and it takes a ton of practice to master.  It seems the best lenses are the 85 1.4 or 1.2’s for extremely shallow depth of field and working distance from your subject.

Anyway, here are two samples I took last weekend and have been working on to try and improve in using the technique:

This is a fun technique I’m hoping to really master and use in my wedding photography in 2011.

Nikon D3, 50mm 1.8 lens shot at 1.8.
