Hi and welcome back.
Last night for my advanced digital class, we photographed a rose with off camera flash. I’ve not done flower photography or still life’s in a while, so this seemed to be a good exercise for me and my class.
We used a Miracle Rose, the X-Rite Color Checker, and an SB800 in a Wesctcott 28″ Apollo Softbox. We set our exposure to 1/200 @ f/11 to darken the room and then we lit our subject with the light and got these results:
